Relay Modules

This power strip module works with a Sap Spy sensor hub or the Sap Spy control node. The module consists of 4 110V outlets. 

• Always On
• Normally On
• Normally Off
• Normally Off

The normally on and normally off outlets will all change state together with 1 signal from the Sap Spy sensor hub or control node. This means anything plugged into the Normally ON port will turn off and anything plugged into the Normally Off port will turn on. This is commonly used to turn a guzzler style pump on and a heat lamp off and vice versa. 

Max load is 10 amps at 110VAC. 

This dual relay module works with a Sap Spy sensor hub or the Sap Spy control node. The module consists of two relays where each relay is independently controlled. Each relay is a single pole double throw (SPDT). This means it has a common terminal, normally open terminal and normally closed terminal.

Max load is 10 amps up to 240VAC. If you are starting/stopping larger motors requiring more amps, then we recommend using a motor starter. 

Sap Spy is now offering an electronically controlled motor starter available in 1 HP, 3 HP or 5 HP 220VAC configurations. Other configurations available upon request. This device is used to start larger motors when emptying tanks manually (start/stop push button) or automatically (based on electronic probes indicating a max and min level. 

Operates on 220VAC. 
Custom configurations are also available upon request. 

This integrated motor starter with overload is integrated directly with Sap Spy. This allows you to remotely turn on/off a 220V single phase motor from your phone, tablet, or PC all through the Sap Spy sugarbush monitoring system. This is commonly used to turn vacuum pumps or a remote pump to empty a tank. This is currently available in 1.5 HP, 3 HP, or 5 HP.
